Need Supply Co. is seeking a Content & Social Media Editor to join our editorial team. Based in Los Angeles, CA, this position will play a critical role in delivering compelling and meaningful content in accordance with Need Supply Co.’s brand guidelines. The ideal candidate has experience strategizing, implementing, and managing social media campaigns and is able to demonstrate past success growing brand engagement. If you are passionate and knowledgeable about fashion and the industry; familiar with the apparel e-commerce landscape; and consistently meet deadlines on time and with grammatical accuracy, we’d like to hear from you. The ability to easily switch from project to project, work on multiple projects with concurrent timelines, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment is essential. Grammatical perfection is expected on all final products.

The Content & Social Media Editor will develop social strategies and manage social media tactics that drive engagement, uphold the Need Supply Co. visual brand standards, and help to build community -- while creatively supporting merchandising and marketing goals.


  • Write, schedule and coordinate daily social media posts across all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter
  • Work closely with our creative and editorial team to create content across all channels that reflects the brand voice and resonates with each platform’s audience authentically
  • Develop and implement innovative, results driven growth strategies across all social media channels
  • Own the content calendar that will engage, grow and convert followers, integrating with marketing, editorial, and cross-channel promotions
  • Conceptualize and drive social marketing campaigns that produce high engagement and viral growth
  • Use social analytics tool to deliver weekly reports on social growth and engagement
  • Implement and build strategic partnerships and relationships with other brands, creators, influences and bloggers
  • Contribute to blog and offer additional editorial support on an as-needed basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of social media experience at a publishing company, agency, website, brand, or relevant company
  • Experience strategizing, implementing, and managing successful social media campaigns
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and platforms
  • Thorough understanding of and excitement for content marketing, advertising and popular culture
  • MUST have strong writing skills, presentation skills and be comfortable presenting in front of internal and external groups

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong relationships with social media platforms and industry experts
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop
