Studio Receiver

Location: Richmond, VA

The Studio Receiver will be responsible for assisting our studio team and serve as the main point of contact with the warehouse team for all inventory transferred in and out of the photography studio. The Studio Receiver will also ensure that all new product is appropriately received on a daily basis, products are returned to the warehouse within assigned timelines, and that all inventory is processed correctly, efficiently, and properly repackaged.

The ideal candidate will possess an eagerness to learn, strong collaboration and organizational skills, and an attention to detail. The Studio Receiver will work closely with our Stylists, Photographers, and Studio Manager, helping the production team maximize studio efficiency.


  • Maintain working knowledge of current inventory and brand packaging
  • Receive incoming inventory, maintaining or creating organizational systems of product, based on type (Men’s apparel, Accessories, etc.)
  • Request, organize, and prepare merchandise for shoots (including unpacking, hanging, and steaming apparel for on-model shoots)
  • Maintain an organized styling closet, ensuring product is in appropriate, designated areas
  • Oversee handling of merchandise while in studio position, ensuring it is received and returned in immaculate, sellable condition
  • Manage product transferred in and out of the Studio through a digital software system
  • Maintain accurate studio inventory levels
  • Ensure all product needed for shoots is in the studio prior to shoots
  • Complete transfer requests for Stylists pulls, including requests from the Richmond or LA office, or others as needed
  • Work alongside the Styling and Fulfillment Center teams to ensure quick and seamless inventory transitions within tight, evolving deadlines
  • Assist production team with daily shoot-related tasks and monthly inventory
  • Assist photographer with set-up of still-life photography shoots, as needed
  • Oversee cleaning of garments or accessories post-shoot, as needed, removing studio tape, sending to dry cleaner, and identifying any damages
  • Contribute to the success and efficiency of the Production studio

Timeframe: Temporary and part-time position, up to 20 hours per week for 12 months (with potential to become permanent).
