NSTO is looking for an experienced Brand Strategist to support the branding and marketing activities for our private brands and partners, for both our platforms Totokaelo and Need Supply Co. We're looking for someone who has 2-3 years marketing partnership or creative marketing experience, in-house or agency ran productions, who has a solid network within the industry, and who has a proven ability to work in a fast-paced high stake environment. The position also requires keeping up-to-date on emerging talent, brands and trends. 

The ideal candidate must possess both a strong brand understanding, creative eye, excellent communication and presentation skills and an execution-oriented mindset, they will play a key role in concepting, ideating, pitching and managing marketing activations and campaigns across our digital and physical platforms.  

This position is based in New York, NY, reports into the Senior Marketing Manager, and collaborates closely with Creative, Studio, Retail, Digital, Product Development and Merchandising teams. 


  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in identifying, developing and managing marketing initiatives to enhance NSTO platforms and private brands profiles; 
  • Own the marketing calendars for both platforms; 
  • Work with the Product Development team to raise the profiles of NSTO private brands; 
  • Support the Creative team to distribute the content outside of NSTO platforms (PR); 
  • Work closely with the Retail team to create and manage physical activations; 
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to optimize our customer insights and lead customer-centric marketing initiatives; 
  • Negotiate marketing partnerships with brands and institutions;  
  • Coordinate all aspects of partnerships, working with respective stakeholders;  
  • Own marketing budgets, schedules and deliverables; 
  • Coordinate influencer marketing and digital marketing campaigns (email and social media); 
  • Manage brand and talent relationships; 


  • Highly developed communication skills to facilitate negotiation, feedback, and schedules; 
  • 2-3 years of branding or creative marketing experience, a deep understanding of marketing in the fashion and luxury industry, editorial and marketing calendars, deliverables and creative content production; 
  • A collaborative, communicative and entrepreneurial spirit with experience in vendor/partner facing; 
  • A proactive, smart, and energetic team player; 
  • Social media, influencer marketing and PR experience;  
  • Excellent at multitasking and managing a broad range of initiatives simultaneously; 
  • Confidence and creativity in conceptualizing and producing a high volume of activations for high end and diverse brands, often working under time pressure and strict deadlines; 
  • Demonstrate a unique and critical eye for an attention to the finer details and translate this into production;
